Through Abraham, Sarah began
God's awesome eternal will
In Spirit in Truth birth a man
His likeness to fulfil
Through Jacob, God's planted His Vine
In Israel's, fertile soil
Birthing sweet grapes, choice mellow wine
Olive's anointed oil
Raising warriors, raising kings
Troubles, wars plagued with strife
God as a man, doing wondrous things
Raising dead souls to life
But as then, eyes oft are blinded
God's Truth's seen as a lie
Most of mankind's double minded
Consequently they die
Like mountains, they too will crumble
Hills and dales form as one
With foes, they'll foul, fail and tumble
Fulfilling what sin had begun
Life is for living, God's holy way
As Adam and Eve portrayed
Before returning back to clay
Life's Piper will be paid
Life's Gardner planting living seed
Tending each crucial root
Nurturing, pruning, ripping out weed
Waiting Life's precious fruit
All this and more feeds the answer
Light and darkness will wed
Till Jesus rids earth's spreading cancer
Sinful man! will fall dead.....
