Today I woke up feeling convicted for many things that I have done recently. I felt the Lord telling me to devote my day to him, to repent, and spend time with him reading his word and in prayer. During that time I came across this website and here I am now...
Many times in my life I have fallin back and messed up spiritually. Even though I have grown up in a Christian family my whole life, and also have a Father who is a pastor, doesn't mean that i'm unlike anyone else. I still have those certain tempations where more times than not I fall under them. It's a constant struggle and probably will be for the rest of my life. All though this may be the case, one thing I must learn is that no matter what I may do, God's a forgiving God. Sometimes when we do something that we know is wrong, and still do it, afterwards we feel like we shouldn't ask God to forgive us. Why would he forgive someone who messes up so many times each day ?
THAT'S NOT THE CASE AT ALL!
God is a forgiving God.
Ephesians 1 says, "We have redemption in Him through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace."
God's grace is never ending. We're all human, and even though we may know better, we all mess up 99.9% of the time
I pray we all overcome our temptations though God's strength.
Bless you all.
