This morning's Scripture

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matthew 6:25-34

The other day my Mother and I were enjoying a lunch at a sonic, eating outside. A robin flew in, pecking at some crumbles.
I threw a little piece of french fry over for it and this scripture came to my heart!
I smiled!
Feeding the robins at a sonic isn't a "norm" for me! But all of a sudden, I saw, the Lord was providing food for that little bird through me!
I didn't plan it, it just happened and it was beautiful! I love how such simple things can bring an awakening in life!
I talked about the scripture with my Mom, we had a wonderful time throwing a few pieces of french fries out to the couple robins who were there and knowing we could provide through our Lord! I was very grateful that the Lord had used me to feed these lil creatures!
It reminded me that no matter what, He provides for me and my family through others as well! It brought a feeling of calm, of peace and comfort in my heart.
That silly little bird, the silly little french fry, brought me the Lord! It brought understanding to confusion and renewed my trust and faith just a little bit more than the last "Little thing"!!

No matter what, Our Lord will provide for us! Have Faith, have Trust, keep an open heart to the Lord and those silly little birds will change your life!

Today-Count your blessings one by one, count your Blessings, Look what God has done!

Have a Blessed day in the Lord my friends!
