Yesterday, my child made me so incredibly angry I had to go get in my car and leave. If I didn't, there would have been "hell" to pay for His disrespect and ungratefulness and I was NOT going to be the one accountable for bringin more evil to the situation!
So, I drove and I prayed and I prayed and I prayed!
You see, everything in my life is not a pretty picture, however I've learned to allow the Lord to have control of me along with myself. This way, I don't bring any evil to the situation at hand.
Children need to learn this from their parents. And believe me when I say, "children learn what they live"! The other children they are around and their teachers in school are no exception when it comes to their "learned behavior". Which only means WE, as their parents need to be the people teaching them "good".
IF your children are absorbing undesirable behavior from you, drop your pride, be accountable and change yourself!!
If their learning undesirable behavior from friends or teachers, take the friend out of the picture, explain why. If their learning undesirable behavior from a teacher meet with the teacher, explain your concern AND expectation of them! The Lord gave YOU that child to raise NO ONE ELSE!
Stand up and instill moral's, value's, standard's, respect and common sense in your children so they can be respected, successful, loving and honest adults.
Today-Start parenting your children IN the Lord, allow NO undesirable interference & most importantly BE the example of "self control"!
