This morning's Scripture

But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.Titus 3:9-11

I once knew a woman who could turn "anything" into the biggest drama on the planet! A child kicking her in the shin turned into a fracture!
I wanted to help her, I wanted to show her how her overly dramatic way's was ruining her and those around her. But, I had to walk away.
I felt like a failure, until the Lord showed me that it wasn't "my" lesson to teach.
I see people, young and old, displaying this kind of behavior and it pains me, it angers me. They have no control over themselves.
And the Lord continues to tell me, "be the example your to be, actions speak louder than words".The other day my daughter came home, gossiping, slandering and I just sat and listened. She'd allowed herself to get caught up in the middle of "crap" again. I explained she wasn't "being the example" by acting like that and allowing herself to be drug into the middle of the school's current "days of our lives" theme! After we talked she went in and prayed alone with the Lord, explaining that she'd felt guilty for allowing herself to get involved in the gossip and slander of others.

We all fall short sometimes, sometimes A LOT of the time! It's just something we need to keep in check constantly.
I don't know what attracts people to act out their lives as if their in a scene from days of our lives, I do know that the gossip, slander, drama and other act's as those can be addicting to the flesh, and I do know their wrong, I also know we get lured in at times and act like a paid actor for a pathetic soap opera!
More importantly, I know, my life without that kind of behavior is peaceful, there is no unrest, no anxiety or turmoil. And....I like and prefer it that way which is what gives me the strength and intelligence to not "allow" myself to be drawn into the, "crap", and lets face it, that's just what it is!

Today- No drama, no slander, no gossip...no matter what! Take a stand against it and keep a hold on our selves!

Have a peaceful day in Christ my friends!
