How swiftly this earth life passes
When death tones loud its bell
Deceived, most living as asses
Will find eternal hell
Though Christ God’s Son, truth to reveal
Chose for sinners to die
Rising, to give Life’s Promised Seal
To all who seek on high
Praying from heart, from truthful soul
Repenting sin and shame
With faith, Jesus will make them whole
When calling on His name
Two thousand years have come and gone
Though facts are seen and known
Still most reject God’s Lamb, God’s Son
Reigning on Heaven’s throne
Living life for what it can bring
Behind sin’s velvet veil
Unaware of death’s waiting sting
Within its gruesome tail
Still a fool believes in plenty
Nothing can be enough
But when Heaven denies them entry
At God, The Lord’s rebuff
Eyes will open ears will hear
When truth is face to face
When ice cold souls, quake in fear
Without Salvation’s grace
Too late! Too late, will be the cry
This life was lived in vane
When in hell’s fire, none can die
