Lonely we travel life’s long road
Regardless who’s around
Alone we bear our heavy load
Till safe beneath the ground
But is the ground our final rest
Is death the last goodbye?
Or could life be The Father’s test?
Concluded when we die
Yes in a way these thoughts are true
The reason that you give
But God’s so much in love with you
He seeks that you may live
Who is this God with so much love?
That you He should adore
Who wants you rise to Him above
And live forever more
God saw you as a little child
He sees your heart of stone
He sees you as you’re running wild
Yet wants you for His own
He paved the way to let us see
Crucified long ago
Saving our souls setting us free
Showing how far He’ll go
But yet one thing be more than sure
Whatever we’ve believed
God’s still prepared to do much more
Than what we’ve yet received
Its up to us the choice is ours
Salvation’s rich and free
Yield to Christ His awesome powers
