Hello, my brothers and sisters
On Sunday, November 23, 2008, I was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit{this was Jesus' command, the last words that He spoke in Matthew}.
Let me tell you, it was an amazing experience. I shared with my Christian family at Wantagh Baptist Church the journey that God has put me through to bring me to Him. My youth pastor dunked me in the warm water, and as soon as I came out, I was shivering. Not just because of the cold, but because I had followed God's command.
If you are reading this and you were not baptized, take it from me: it was an AMAZING moment. People I didn't even know came up to me and gave me a hug. I felt this sudden closeness with every Christian I knew. I really felt God entering my heart. I could finally say "Praise Be to God" in a non-Christian school without shame or fear. Jesus is with me all of my days, and I feel like now my new life has begun.
So, my brothers and sisters, be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist could baptize with water, but Jesus could baptize with the Holy Spirit. Fortunately, on November 23, 2008, I was baptized with both!!
PRAISE BE TO GOD!!
HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!!
