You say my love for you has gone
But Satan’s made you blind
For in my life I’ve found God’s Son
I’ve no one else in mind

Don’t think my love for Jesus strange
For you! I’m always there
The way I feel for Christ won’t change
The love we; have to share

But from the Lord I’ll never stray
However long I live
He loves me in a perfect way
That no one else can give

The Lord’s no rival to your love
There’s no one else but you
Yet what I’ve shared with Christ above
Has brought me life anew

My love for you remains the same
But Jesus’ love’s much more
He sees our heart from high above
And comes to knock our door

So why not bid the Lord inside?
The way He came to me
Give Jesus Christ your foolish pride
And then His love you’ll see

He’s come in truth to set you free
To cleanse you of all sin
But only you possess the key
To let God’s Son within

It only takes a moment love
No need for you to fear
Just ask the Lord to send His Dove
And I’ll be waiting here,
