The World Thinks Shes Free

Though life on earth is but a breath
Though all is in Christ’s hand
Though eternity starts at death
The world can’t understand

This awesome truth she fails to see
Still drunk on Satan’s brew
Her children think they’re high and free
While sin clouds up their view

The world can change through Jesus’ love
Can lose her robes of shame
Can find through Christ life’s path above
If she would call His name

We all may share the change she makes
May help to speed her course
If we repent from past mistakes
And seek no more their source

Through Christ we too! God’s love may spread
May show the world He’s true
So truth may heal, may raise the dead
May lead to life anew

That Christ may use us as His tool
Let’s walk toward life’s dawn
Refuse to play the devil’s fool
Refuse to be his pawn

Let’s open wide our neighbour’s eyes
Allow the deaf to hear
Reveal the world the devil’s lies
Remove her doubt and fear

What greater joy can come our way?
What greater thrill divine?
Than lead someone to life today
Still drunk on Satan’s wine…
