We read about the signs of the end times, as described in the Bible, and believe that they are happening now. Consider the swine flu, declared a pandemic by the world health center in Geneva. We actually have schools closing in the U.S. but not being reported in our news media. A similar event occurred in 1918 causing the death of hundreds of thousands of people. How would a pandemic of this magnitude effect our lives?. We could have a severe shortage of food We know great shortages of food are occurring in other countries and we believe it has started in our own country. Mat: 24, 7 deals with the signs of end times with the black horse of famine, and a loaf of bread costing a days wages. We have major companies closing, declaring bankruptcy, and car dealerships closing, all causing massive unemployment in this country. Nancy and I have started storing up a 20 year shelf-life emergency food supply . We must be in a position to help our own families as well as others. A wise man prepares but the foolish man buries his head in the sand.

Many churches have food pantries and this is well and good. Do you have enough for l00, 500, or even l,000 needy people? The shelf life on many grocery store items is limited (if the food is even there). Please let me tell you about this emergency food supply with a 20 year shelf.
