Think of a turtle, a fat slow hare
A snail, a flee in a tree
Picture an eagle in the air
Which soon, will cease to be?
Which makes you think of you, my friend?
Turtle, hare, snail, eagle, flee
Where will life find you in the end
What future do you see
By lust, debauchery beaten
Worry, loosing world wealth
By hell's monster caught and eaten
Or free enjoying health
Think of Satan, of Jesus Christ
Think of the church today
Think why The Father sacrificed
Revealing Heaven's Way
Wisdom, reveals the hare's not me
Eagle, flee, nor the snail
Like the turtle, untouchable free
With Christ one cannot fail
It's not a religion I follow
No fantasy man made
Nor fad without a tomorrow
But Truth none can invade
From youth, I've tried, now old and grey
Troubles I've felt and seen
But with Jesus, walking Heaven's Way
Nothing could intervene
By living true, by standing fast
Grafted in true Life's Vine
Devils and powers I could outlast
While Jesus hand held mine.....
