"Albared and his family found a home by a lake. A few others made their homes there. The homes faced the lake, protective walls were built behind them. Early on it was a dozen homes, with space between them. The children among them grew up in their time, they would marry among each other, and then those couples would build their homes among those there in the same way as the others. And their families grew. More children were born to grow up among them, in time more homes were built. After a couple more generations, the shore all around the lake had homes crowded together on all sides. The homes all faced the lake. The protective wall behind them built tightly together now blocked them all from going anywhere else, and they only had the lake, surrounded on all its sides by the homes, in front of them.
"They could not grow anything anymore, so these people were then catching the fish there to eat. But when the fish were all caught, as there were all these people, there was not anything left to catch. And they were all trapped there, still.'
