I am 20 years old.
Until the last few months, I was never immersed in any kind of religion. My parents did not send us to church, I had not been, I had very minimal religious knowledge.
A month ago, I attended a baptism and it was an absolutely life changing experience. I began researching local churches, found one I really liked, and it's gone from there.
I have recently began learning how to pray. It has been difficult, since I was not comfortable with praying, but I am getting there.
I am thankful for finding God and wish I had done it sooner, but am thankful it has happened. Unfortunately, I am surrounded by many who do not believe or belittle those for believing.
