The Soul Cold Hearted

Cold stays the soul that Christ denies
For God, they’ve no desire
Still ignorant, closing their eyes
To council they require

Laughter, for a while may linger
Joy, for a moment too
Till truth, one day points its finger
Where death and hell’s in view

Let angst of death hide no surprise
But herald light of day
Till graceful fear makes one wise
To seek Salvation’s Way

Let righteous knowledge aid as guide
From foolish ways of man
Bid Heaven’s Promise dwell inside
According to God’s plan

Enlightening one’s selfish ways
Revealing facts within
God’s Spirit will lift a sinner’s gaze
That he repent of sin

But foolish man can’t see they’re blind
Where wisdom fails to dwell
Unable life’s true Way to find
Whilst on the path of hell

Rebels remain devoid of fear
Disobeying life’s rules
Ever failing truth to hear
They’ll live to die as fools

How will they know, how will they see?
Their dangerous Godless state
That Christ alone can set them free
From Satan’s endless fate…..
