Perry Stone had a message this week and it was about ‘How to be a rain maker and a drought breaker”. He basically was saying that the church is going through a drought MISSING IS THE ZEAL FOR GOD and MISSING THE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELLING IN US. I tell you…Brother Perry was on fire AND knew this man was speaking by the Holy Spirit. He basically asked what happens during a famine? His answer is people eat all kinds of things…even other humans. He said that the church is going through a spiritual famine and drought. THIS IS A PROPHETIC WORD, FOR I MYSELF FEEL THAT THERE IS SOMETHING AMISS WITH THE BODY OF CHRIST. He said…’What is happening today is that church is eating each other spiritually…by gossip, slandering, critising our beliefs causing division among the body of believers…This is true. Also, we lost the meaning of fellow shipping with one another. Jesus said My Father’s House will be a House of Prayer… but question, I have…have we made it a den of thieves? With our social meetings, people are being entertained to keep the number up…but the meat of the message is being lost and we lost the art of prayer. I love what my husband had said (after listening to brother Stone’s message.) ‘It is no surprise that the world is now experiencing a famine on a physically level and believes that there is a link to what the church is experiencing a famine on the spiritual level today. ‘My husband feels that on a physical level the commodity prices are going up, and this would mean these rich countries would stop aiding the poorer or reduce their aid to the poor countries thus creating more famine in those areas. Remember, when the black seal is released 1/3 of the world population will die from famine, plagues and pestilences.
If we can take this same analogy of on a spiritual level then we can apply this to the 10 virgins spoken in Matthew 25. There is going to be a day that there will be a famine on the Word of God…perhaps…famine regarding the HOLY SPIRT AND ZEAL FOR GOD. But Jesus warns us about not having enough oil in our lamps.
Revelation 2:9 (New King James Version) “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 3:15-17 (New King James Version)15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot. I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—
I believe that the poor Believers especially in third world countries who suffer from wars, starvation, slavery and other atrocities who suffer starvation of food will not suffer starvation of the Word of God…they may die from physical hunger but they will inherit something far more better…they will be rich in spirit…They will experience true zeal and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Those Believers who do not have to worry physically if they are going to starve with all their wealth, cars and houses not needing anything not even God…they have been starving spiritually and do not realise that they are poor in spirit. For I feel that God will cause a famine of the Word of God to come upon the church of Laodocia…for those who are rich and need nothing. Those 10 virgins represent all of us…if you are not living for Jesus now…you never will…. the lamp MUST BE full of oil NOT HALF FULL…Holy Spirit…IS the SEAL OF THE SAINTS the book of Revelation talks ABOUT… the seal that we are HIS CHOOSEN ONES AS OPPOSE TO THE MARK OF THE ANTICHRIST. We need to WAKE UP CHURCH AND GET OUR HOUSE IN ORDER. RECOMMIT OURSELVES BACK TO GOD AND LIVE THE WAY HE HAS TAUGHT US IN HIS WORD. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR EYES ON THE SKIES AND IN THE NEWS…DISCERN THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES…FOR HE WILL COME LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.
And another thing before I end this post….
During Passover, as we were having foods without leaven for 7 days….and I asked our Lord “each year, I find it hard to prepare meals without use of flour, beans and anything of leaven.” This week I felt starving not eating breads, cereals etc and having only potatoes for my source of carbs. I commented to God “Gee, I am afraid to know what it would be like to not have wheat in our diets.” Then it dawned on me “could there be a correlation of the feast of Unleavened Bread and the third seal of the black horse in the book of Revelation. The Jews for thousands of years would eat for 7 days food without yeast. My question is why only 7 days? They went without bread for 40 years and eating manna? The only bread they took was unleavened bread because they had to leave Egypt in a hurry and they did have time to let the dough rise…but the mystery to me is this…why the 7 days? I am not Jewish so perhaps someone can enlighten me on this. But I was just thinking could part of the Passover be a training ground for what was to come in the 7 year Tribulation…for wheat and barley would be too expensive to buy. During Passover, I try to get my recipes from a Jewish website…why? Because they are the most inventive people I know on making desserts and foods that do not use flour and other leaven grains. For example: they use grounded almonds and eggs to cause cakes to rise in an Almond Cake. Is the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a precursor of the days that we will have to live when the prices of Food especially wheat and barley goes up and becomes impossible to obtain (as the Book of Revelation predicts)? Could the Jewish people be in training and not know it? Do you remember the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. After he was reunited with his brothers, he had them move to Egypt because two years of predictive famine had passed and they had five years of famine to go…could it be that the Jews who will be ahead of us and perhaps teach us how to survive the massive famine spoken in the book of Revelation? I don’t know…I will keep asking God if this is what he means. I just thought I would mention it…
