The minute I felt safe-
The ground shook.
Then I shook.
I had to change.
The Holy Spirit was speaking-
And, I couldn’t ignore him.
He pursued me in my sleep.
In my thoughts-
I could no longer run.
If the Holy Spirit wants something-
He won’t be denied.
He won’t take no for an answer.
Once I finally give in-
The ground goes still.
And I am at peace-
The same minute.
