We see Him in the spirit realm
In faith clear and bright
The Rock of ages at the helm
Steering through the night
Though Satan’s out to cheat and kill
Till dead beneath the ground
Yet Christ The Rock is with us still
To keep us safe and sound
We need from Heaven’s Bread to feed
From Heaven’s Rock to drink
So Jesus Christ must take the lead
Away from where fools think
When humble at His feet we bow
Tendering love and care
The Rock of ages past and now
Will save us from despair
Foolishness to the worldly eye
Impossible to hear
And so we watch them fall and die
Plagued with sin and fear
Is not The Rock for sinners too?
For these, did not Christ die?
Why Jesus rose to follow through
With zeal to multiply
But unlike Moses long ago
Our Rock we needn’t beat
With love with care He’s here to flow
And comfort God’s elite
The Rock has come The Rock will stay
The living Truth above
Calling His sheep to walk His way
Into the arms of love
