What reason do we have for not sharing our testimony? It is a common theme among Christians that they have a hard time sharing the gospel because of:
Fear
Ignorance
Uncertainty
Untrained
Fear
We like to yell amen when the preacher asks:
Who has the joy of the LORD today?
We love the feels of having security in our Salvation.
We love to tell of how we came to the Lord and how grateful we are that someone was brace enough to share the gospel with us.
SO IF IT WAS SUCH A BLESSED EXPERIENCE, WHY DO WE NOT SHARE IT WITH OTHERS?
Acts 4:20
The Apostles were so full of joy at knowing the Lord that even in the face of death, they said they COULD NOT help but speak!
So again, why is there such an issue if we truly have the joy of the Lord?
Perhaps you feel as if God has wronged you before and it has weakened your trust.
Perhaps your joy is only superficial and not rooted in the truth.
Perhaps you are only fooling yourself and really do not know the Lord at all.
Perhaps...
I am not here to ridicule anyone, but just to provoke you.
Are we really so ungrateful at knowing the Lord that we would bottle that joy up within ourselves and put out the fire that once raged within?
Please, examine yourself!
If you find your witness lacking, spend some time with your Savior! Confess your unfaithfulness and ask him to lead you!
If you do not know what to say, just share what God has done for you!
If you have fear, stop looking at yourself and fix your eyes upon Jesus! Fear is rooted in self! Die to self! Let Jesus live in you by faith! Galatians 2:20
I pray for each of you to have new avenues to share your testimony of what God has done for you! Just tell people how good God has been! Oh just open your mouth and he will fill it with words! Trust him! Love him!
May the riches of Christ, the glory of the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit rest upon each and every one of you!
