Many enter into their own destruction because of the deception of those who have transformed themselves into ministers of “righteousness”….and the people love it so. Seeing that many are so “wise”, they gladly suffer at their hands as they bring them into bondage. They let religious –sounding men “devour” them and take them. They let them exalt themselves and strike them on the face.

(18) Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
(19) For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.
(20) For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
They glory…..they are proud…of those who have done this to them. A man should not have the Father’s wife….the church…in his covetousness. We are to separate from their company….purging the “old leaven”. Let us not keep the feast with the old leaven neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness that comes with living according to the lusts of men in the high places of the churches.

(7) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
(8) Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
We are not to keep company with the “fornicators”….those who use their flattering mouths to get unjust gain in their covetousness. WE are not to eat with them at all….fellowshipping together with them.
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
(11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
We are to keep the Passover with the UNLEAVENED bread of sincerity and truth, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason….the blood of Christ. We are to cleanse our hands ….the 2 “side posts”….and purify our hearts…..the “lintel”.

(8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
The Son of God comes to give us understanding so that we might know Him who is true. We are to turn our laughter into mourning and our joy into heaviness. Let us not rejoice in the covetous ways and thoughts of covetous men who have led us astray. Let us eat the Passover with fire…with love….and with “unleavened bread”….without pride and glorying. Let us eat the Passover with bitter herbs…..being afflicted and mourning and weeping for our sins.
(9) Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Let us be humble and have no leavened bread.
(10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Whoever is born of God by believing in His Son who comes to give us understanding will not sin…speak evil of what they will hear….and the wicked one will not touch our mortal bodies.

We are to keep ourselves from idols…..covetous teachings, thoughts and ways of men. WE are to separate from their company so as not to share in their sins and plagues.

If we keep His Passover, then the “destroyer” shall not come unto our houses to smite us. The wicked will not come to destroy our flesh…our house…our mortal bodies. Sin shall not rule over us…..and so death will not also have dominion over us. Death shall passover us as we keep His commandments....having love for one another without envying, strife, covetousness....

(22) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
(23) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
(24) And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
We shall live to the Age….when this entire earth shall be the home of righteousness.
(25) And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
(26) And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
(27) That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
(28) And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
This current world lies in wickedness….in bondage to sin and death…Egypt. The “firstborn” is the natural body of men. ALL are dead even while we walk here in this earth.
(29) And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
Every “house”….every mortal body….is dead. But Christ…our Passover…died for all….because all are dead.
(30) And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
The servant of sin does not abide in the “house” to the Age….for they perish…as their flesh is destroyed. But those who will hear the Son abides to the Age. because we hear Him and believe…we shall LIVE as He is ALIVE. The Spirit gives our mortal bodies LIFE to the coming Age and of the Age.

(35) And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
