The “Hell” of the unbeliever
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Master Yahusha shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty messengers, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not the God, and that obey not the good news of our Master Yahusha the anointed. Who shall be punished with age-lasting ruin from the presence of the Master, and from the esteem of his strength. When he shall come to be magnified in his set-apart ones, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. - 2 Thess. 1:7-10
And these shall go away into age-lasting correctional punishment, but the righteous into life age-lasting. – Matt. 25:46
At the end of this age, which is not yet the final judgment, many will be destroyed with fire at the presence of Yahusha the anointed. But the real punishment is not the fact that they will be destroyed, the punishment is not taking part of the esteem that will be revealed at the end of this age. The esteem of the Father that will be revealed in his anointed one, Yahusha at his presence. They will look at him, and all the tribes of the earth shall wail because of him. There is going to be gnashing of teeth. These people will realize that they were fighting this whole time to be excluded from the wonderful presence of the Lamb, and they will be pricked to the heart. And there will be no comfort to ease their misery. The state of being dead is such a terrible position to be in, that the anointed one spoke in a parable about this. He told of the rich man and Lazarus. How the rich man was in torments in death’s domain, and there was no easing of his torments. Even though people die, and know nothing after they are dead, the anointed one told this parable in such a way, to express that being dead in death’s domain is a very low state, as opposed to being in the presence of the Master.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me, for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. – Isaiah 66:24
The Father will talk to the nations in that day, thru his son Yahusha and they will be made known of their errors before they will be removed from his presence and from His esteem.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that Yahueh, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the messengers who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in eternal chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after different flesh, are set forth for an example, experiencing the justice of age-lasting fire. – Jude 1:5-7
Remember, Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed with age-lasting fire, not with “everlasting torment” as many would teach. You can go look on these sites today, and they are an abhorring to many who would look on it and understand this was because of their corruption. So also, in the age-lasting kingdom of Yahusha, many shall go forth and look upon the people who shall be destroyed at the presence of Yahusha, at the end of the age. And they will know why their carcasses are lying there. And these ruined people will be an example for those who want to walk un-righteously afterwards. They will be an abhorring.
On the day of judgment, when the nations will see the esteem of the Father, and his anointed one, and all the believers in their exalted positions, there is going to be a great longing for this. They will know that these people walked among them on earth, and now they are set on high seats and judgment is given unto them, to judge the people who persecuted them, and reviled them. This might not seem to be the case now, and people would say “no, they don’t”, but on that day, its going to be overwhelming, so that everyone would want their name written in the book of life. Their torment is going to be their longing for immortality and the esteem that goes with it, and fortunately many will be written in the book of life. But those whose names that are not written in the book will be cast out to their second death.
P.s. The scriptures do not teach “eternal hellfire” of the unbeliever. Neither does it say that the unbeliever will receive an immortal body before being cast into the fire. Fire is for refinement, which is the punishment of a Just Creator. Messengers (angels) are reserved in eternal chains, yet unto the day of judgment. Those who drink the wine of the wrath of the Father, the smoke thereof is said to rise up ‘unto the ages of the ages’, not their torment. In fact they are still waiting for judgment day, like the messengers. The adversary (satan) is said to be tormented unto the ages of the ages. This could be because of his role in rebellion and the fact that he has a different body than mortal humans, I’m not going to speculate further. Also there is no clear scripture that says, that those who go into the lake of fire will be chastised and be saved at the end. The scriptures only covers the time of the ages up until the new earth, and afterwards no mention of people being saved out of the lake of fire, there is only mention that they will be destroyed and die a second death.
And death and death’s domain were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. – Revelations 20:14-15
