The Gospel

Hello!

People don't need the things of this world to make their lives better. People need The Gospel because the Gospel is what changes us and our lives. It is the Holy Spirit who works in us to set up apart to God for His glory alone, not ours. Satan does not want us to hear, understand, nor receive The Gospel because he knows when we do, his influence and control over our lives is over.

Every pastor (those who genuinely belong to God and are called by Him to be a pastor) needs to be preaching The Gospel at every church service, because in all honesty, not everyone who goes to church is saved. IMO, it is wrong to tell people what's wrong with them and that they need to just stop it.....but the pastor is not telling them about the Gospel. How can you expect people to change and stop sinning but make no mention of The One Who made an end of sin in Himself on the cross? Or worse yet, there's all this teaching about how to get more stuff and a promise of freedom, but there's no mention of The One Who already purchase our freedom with His own blood; The One Who told us to seek His kingdom and His righteous and not worry about anything because He's the One who provides us with the neccessities of life. Besides, it is from God that one has his or her life in Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30). Therfore, our lives, our very purpose, is to glorify God. What we do, the way we act, what we say, how we carry ourselves, how we are behind closed doors when no one else is looking, even how we dress and take care of our bodies matters. Don't believe me? Then take a look at 1 Corinthians 10:31 for proof.

I believe that when a christian really understands that his or hear purpose is to glorify and honor God, there is absolutely no way that one can condone, encourage, or eve justify sin. How can any of us to say that we know what our purpose is yet still choose to abuse our bodies with cigarette smoking, sexual immorality and vice, over eating or not eating enough, over exercising or not exercising at all, putting nothing but junk food in our bodies, overworking and not getting enough sleep cuz you're too wound up about how to make more money, and especially not guarding our hearts with all diligence? When you don't guard your heart, you run the risk of allowing garbage to take root in your heart. It is out the of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. We can also abuse our lives by overspending (being irresponsible by living beyond our financial means and then wanting God to bail us out all the time) or being stingy with our resources. Things should not be this way!

Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and it is only through Him does one fulfill the God ordained purpose, and that is to glorify and honor Him.

The Gospel changes everything! This is what the devil doesn't want us to know. He really doesn't even care that people go to church.....as long as they don't hear The Gospel. But thank God that though satan comes only to steal kill and destroy us, Jesus came to give us abundant eternal life in Him, now and forever. And thank God for giving us the bible!

To God alone be all the glory now and to the day of eternity.

Btw, not only is preaching The Gospel the responsibility of pastors, but also of every born again christian (Mark 16:15). So, let's do that. :)
