This new series focuses on what the Lord is doing. I have found that people are too focussed on what is happening in the world and thus can be subject to the spirit of fear of the world system.
The Lord warns us in the end times -
`there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men`s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.` (Luke 21: 25 & 26)
Having a greater understanding of what the Lord has been doing over the centuries and across the world gives us a wonderful appreciation of His purpose and plan for the Body of Christ. It also enables us to pray and serve with greater confidence in the Lord for we are then following Him as He leads in triumph.
`Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.` (2 Cor. 2: 14)
