The Doctor
I know I keep going off the subject of car sales, but like I said before, I am writing about my life as it happens. Now tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment to get my heart checked. Since I have become a sales manager, I have had a lot of stress, and I think it is affecting my health. The problem is that I sit most of the day in front of a computer and eat lunch and dinner on the fly in front of the same computer. Combine that with my lack of exercise and I have had some symptoms, it started out with anxiety symptoms and tended up with small chest pains. So I see the cardiologist tomorrow after being told by other doctors and even the emergency room that I am fine. So if anyone could say a prayer for me, I would appreciate it. This is one of the many reasons that I am looking to make a move within the car biz. I don't think that I can every leave the car biz cause I actually like it a lot. I love dealing with people and putting them in the car of there dreams. But I am not sure if the path I am on is going to allow me to get out of the car business alive, nonetheless retire from it. So with that I am looking into other options, I have a company who says they would like me to come on board with them, but it is quite a commitment. It would involve traveling around the country and selling cars at different dealerships. I will go into details on this later as it comes together, but I want to get this health thing taken care of first. So tomorrow should be an interesting day, after the doctors appointment I will go into work, and I know I will find a mess in the finance department. The end of the month is what we call close-out in finance. That means that all the car deals need to be bought by a bank or credit union and turned into money. The problem is that we do a lot of sub-prime business, that means we get car loans for people with less than perfect credit. On some of these car deals, the bank has not bought the loan yet for the car that we have already sold and is burning gas/bustin bugs. So there is a scramble at the end of the month to finish getting these deals bought. Well with our finance dept. down to two guys, I have been asked to help keep things going. But since it is close-out, I am anticipating being stuck in finance all day. The funny part is, that I am really the only one who can pull it all together, yet they show there appreciation by cutting my pay by 40%. Anyway, I will tell you how it goes tomorrow.
till then, God Bless
