I also woke from A DREAM: We were giving a woman a bed. I pointed out to her that she was not getting a thin foam mattress like the one on my left (might have been a sleeper-sofa), but she was getting a thick, firm inner-spring mattress – the one on the right.
Then, I decided to give her a bedspread. I offered to wash it for her first, but she said she would wash it, so I handed the dirty bedspread to her in the laundry room and she handed me a clean pile of her clothes that she had just washed, including her undergarments, and just enough for what she needed for two days, which was the remainder of the time she was staying with us.
I was impressed by her maturity level, her independence and her stick-to-itiveness to see a job through to the finish instead of relying on someone else to do the job for her. She knew what needed to be done and she did it. END

22 "Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stir up your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side- 23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them, handsome young men, all of them governors and commanders, chariot officers and men of high rank, all mounted on horses. 24 They will come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons and with a throng of people; they will take up positions against you on every side with large and small shields and with helmets. I will turn you over to them for punishment, and they will punish you according to their standards. 25 I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. 36 The LORD said to me: "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then confront them with their detestable practices, 37 for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them. 38 They have also done this to me: At that same time they defiled my sanctuary and desecrated my Sabbaths. 39 On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.
40 "They even sent messengers for men who came from far away, and when they arrived you bathed yourself for them, painted your eyes and put on your jewelry. 41 You sat on an elegant couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed the incense and oil that belonged to me.
My Understanding: The only thing I know for sure right now is that the way this small pile of clean clothing was handed to me was the same way a US flag is handed to a family member of a fallen soldier, so "death", i.e. "blood on the hands" was definitely a part of this. Other than that, I don't know yet since I was sick when I had this dream.

The article basically states that the uses for the $700 billion bailout plan are constantly changing. First it was about buying devalued mortgage-backed securities from banks and then it was about using $250 billion to buy stakes in banks. This bailout plan became law three weeks ago and yet not a dollar of it yet has been spent according to this article.
Ok, the article went on to talk about TARP, which is short for “troubled asset relief program.” The article states that critics note that tarps are “used to cover things up.” Well, in my dream, I gave a “bedspread,” i.e. a bed covering to someone but it was dirty and she said she would wash it, i.e. “launder it.” To launder something means to pass illegally acquired money through a legitimate business or bank account in order to disguise its illegal origins (Encarta).
Ok, Sen. Charles Schumer expressed concern about giving bailout bucks to banks for fear that they would use them to “continue paying dividends on their common stock.” He said he also “fears that they might stuff the money under the proverbial mattress rather than make loans.” This could be why the mattress we are giving this “woman” in the dream is thick rather than thin. A bank mattress is a device that is used to protect a bank from erosion.
Ok, the article continues with a discussion about the Treasury hiring the Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (BK) as “custodian” of TARP. So, I must be representing the Treasury in this dream and I am handing the “dirty” TARP to BK who then decides to “launder” it. Then the bank conducts “reverse auctions” to buy these toxic securities on behalf of the Treasury. Web definition of “reverse auction”: A reverse auction is an auction in which the usual roles of buyer and seller are reversed. And, then BK hands the Treasury back “clean laundry”? And, it is handed to the Treasury like someone handing a US flag to a family member of a fallen soldier, so the indication is that there is “blood on the hands.”
The passage of scripture talks about two adulterous sisters. In this case it sounds like at least the second one is the US Treasury/Government. She defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after. Then the Babylonians came to her “mattress” i.e. “bed of love” and in their lust they defiled her. Basically, the US government is being compared here to a prostitute going after all her “lovers”. But the Lord says that he will turn her over to her lovers and that they will punish her according to their standards. Maybe that is the laundry being handed back like a US flag to the family of a fallen soldier. They will deal with the US government with hatred and will take everything away they have worked for. The Lord will put our “sister’s cup” into the hand of the US Treasury/Government.
