Upon all, flesh in latter days Joel. 12:28
God’s Light will dawn as planned
His Wind will blow and where it stays Jn.3:8
They’ll learn and understand
Joel’s prophecy we see unfold
Today God’s word is real
The Spirit that the Lord foretold
Is now in man to feel
Salvation’s Flame glows bright and true
Who burns and purges shame
God’s Promise to His chosen few
Has come in Jesus’ name
Without Him is the world still blind
Her eyes fail truth to see
She fears! The Ghost who helps to find
The Way to make her free
Though Jesus’ Ghost may not be seen
By wayward flesh and bone
This Holy Gift to Jesus’ queen
Can melt a heart of stone
To those yet lost the perfect Guide
In darkness precious Light
The Comforter of Jesus’ bride
Stands vigil day and night
He sees our deeds, our every word
Both crude and when we pray
He comes in truth but like a bird
He’ll easily fly away
Do not despise what Christ would give
Do not reject the Dove
In Him; we learn in Christ to live
In Him; we learn to love.
