I’m Spirit filled I do my bit
I live a life of prayer
I’m saved by grace my lamp’s well lit
Whilst others die out there
I’m on my knees both night and day
I fast on Zion hill
That God would send me on my way
To do His precious will
To travel here and far off lands
To spread the true report
Not snugly sit in Jesus’ hands
With deeds that count to nought
“Go north!” God said, “Go to the south
Go east and to the west
I’ll put my word into your mouth
But you; must do your best”
I’ve heard the call I see the need
I know of Jesus’ plan
His word in me I know can feed
And help my fellow man
So let the will of God be done
In all He’ll do in me
But yet not “I” but Christ His Son
Will bring such things to be
For on my own, I’m incomplete
Sat here upon a pew
But let me rise from off this seat
Then see what God can do
Man’s power was lost though mortal sin
Through disobedient shame
But now in Christ, and He within
I’ll glorify His name…PTO…
