The Bride Changing.....

The state of man, is not God’s fault
His offered grace is sure
He longs to season each with salt
And from all ailments cure

But till the cross this world can see
The pain, Christ chose to bear
The Way stays blocked to set her free
Eternal life to share

Comfortable; she still runs wild
Content revolves in sin
Too selfish to be reconciled
Through wanton lust within

As bride! The church should show The Way
Disclose demonic lies
Make known her Saviour’s love today
Opening blinded eyes

How can we bring such change about?
Reform the devil’s harlot
How can we end her lethal doubt?
And open life’s barred door

The world must learn of Jesus’ bride
Should know who dwells within
Must learn He comes as guide inside
Teaching to combat sin

He comes to help us read God’s Word
With fire to keep us free
He comes when hearts The Truth has heard
And facts begin to see

He comes when Christ we see as Lord
When heart and soul obey
When through the blood willingly poured
Has washed our filth away.....
