I've been reading blogs and posts of conversations pertaining to the Last Days, Future Events and The Lord's Coming.
I'll be posting from time to time on the subject.
I can support my comment with scripture, but to save time to begin with, i'll simply be commenting.
The First important information about The Book of Revelations is to understand why it is so hard to intrepret and understand.
In the Book of Revelations, the scripture says that only Jesus was found worthy to open, read and intrepret what was sealed inside.
So, the scriptures only become clear and understandable when Jesus is the one revealing it.
This is why there are so many different views on the scripture found in Revelations.
Secondly, it's important to understand who the main characters are and the main focus of locations these events take place.
In the book of Daniel, the scriptures indicate the man of power will place his palace between the seas and in the holy mountains.
The only perfect discription of this location is the Judean mountains, which is presently under Palestian control. I might add that construction is underway in the Judean mountains aswell.
Bethlehem is on the west bank over looking Jerusalem.
In April 2001, Palestians took over the temple, Church of the Nativity, because of it defensive attributes.
While inside they used the temple's possessions, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. at their convenience.
This is the abomination and "desolation" that the scriptures are talking about that is written about in Daniel.
The man of power is will do the very same thing when his time comes.
The Scriptures indicate that Israel is The Great harlot.
When the saints are in heaven part of them sing the Song of Moses.
Biblical scolars have said that it is only their right to sing this song not stopping to realize the song was instructed by God for Moses to write and was to be taught through out generations to Israel as a testimony of Israel having a whorish reputation of denying the only true living God.
The scriptures indicate that Israel will once again turn its back on God seeking wealth and pleasure and become corrupt as "Babylon" not caring for the welfare of people, especially the christian.
So, Basically, Revelations is a warning to all christians to prepare to endure this hardship, while Israel lives lavicously and lets people die at the hand of this person she has made a treaty with.
This treaty is most likely with Palestine, and the man of power is either Palestian, with a Saudi Arabian kingly heritage, or is Saudi Arabian prince himself.
