Still faithless children are out there
Like sheep scattered in fear
Not knowing life is there’s to share
That God is always near
As sure as Jesus bore our shame
His blood cleansed free of sin
So sure today His Holy Flame
Has power one’s soul to win
Let’s pray for those yet lost and blind
Before Jesus’ return
That Heaven’s Truth will flood the mind
God’s Flame in hearts will burn
We pray You send Your Spirit Lord
Your promised guiding Light
That through Your Word Your mighty Sword
Will help us win the fight
For faith to stand life’s trials we seek
For peace on earth to share
Patients to help the weary weak
And love to render care
Life’s war is on, the battle fierce
The foe roams free and wild
So many wounded shedding tears
Must still be reconciled
We pray the rich will hear Your call
The poor will cease to cry
You hate to see a sinner fall
Condemned in shame to die
Again we pray to cleanse their past
To help them understand
That all before the final blast
