Sweet Unity

The bride must more than just survive
Her rusty lamp must shine
She needs to stand to come alive
And thrive within The Vine

For this! The Lord should have His way
Should have complete control
Reigning as King of kings today
In body heart and soul

There is no church that has it all
No church is yet so pure
However long wide or tall
Alone there’s no one sure

We must connect with God above
Unite as living stone
Through channels formed by grace and love
Leaning on Christ alone

In spirit at our Saviour’s feet
Together hand in hand
Serving united made complete
As God has always planned

An end should come to separate names
Denominational creeds
Putting and end to Satan’s games
So God’s to meets our needs

So Light can come where Light belongs
Wisdom can open eyes
True love can sing it wondrous songs
At sorrow’s sweet demise

For love within The Master’s hand
Will fuse God’s house of prayer
United in truth always to stand
Eternity to share
