Today the eternal problem of dualism has once again come to the forefront. It is common to all man, thus obviously also within the institutional church built upon a foundation of man. The two factions struggle within Christianity to go their preferred ways and each rise and fall according to the age. One seeks the Kingdom and understands the ways of man are backwards, while the other continually misses the point and struggles to gain power and glory (often by association) in the world of man as it builds it's religion and authority over all, just as secular empires once did and still do. In other words, one is built upon the foundation of God's truth while the other prefers the age old truths and ways of man.
We've always seen examples of this within clergy where some become monks or hermits and run off to live according to the will of God, at minimum causing no one harm, or others immersing themselves in scripture while dealing with each other and the people as taught by Jesus and demonstrated originally by the Way. This, while some of their counterparts busied themselves with their life of worldly church power, authority and wealth and doing what was necessary to maintain each, fighting their way up the hierarchy in a struggle of self preservation.
Look at how back in the time of Constantine one faction clamoured over each other to climb the new corporate ladder offered them. Look at today where they are not only blessing Corporatism as an unelected world government along with the WEF as our new world saviours, but just in this past few weeks religions have joined forces to bless a one world religion and rewrite the ten commandments (at Sinai no less) to mean honouring the environment rather than God. This in order to keep themselves relevant with the times and with secular rulers (as in Constantine's time or as the Sanhedrin had once done with Rome) while the Corporatism agenda takes over the globe and people fall away from their religious institutions. No longer a parable is it, this talk about falling to the wayside as the cares of the world distract them from the Kingdom. Who serves the Adversary? Is it they, or is it the humble within who love all as self and live for the counter-culture of the Kingdom? Let's be clear. Not all clergy in the various sects of Christianity are absorbed in the human politics of the religion. Dual natures will clash as they do in the secular world. Discernment is a must.
We all will be held accountable at the end of days yes, but is it not where we place our allegiance a prime factor in that accountability? Honestly, all those of the Kingdom can do is set the example and speak of the difference between the two factions. As Jesus said, there is no need to physically rebel, and if anything we should pray the fallen see the errors of following the will of man over the will of God. The fallen however may prefer to see us burnt as heretics to their cause. It doesn't follow the second commandment of Jesus, but it is an efficient way to control their narrative and will be more effective than the mockery and bullying we see from them now, not to mention the power of cancellation. But on the bright side, the world is supposed to hate us.
