Surprise! Surprise!

The bible tells us crystal clear
When we in Christ take wing
We’ll leave behind this world of fear –Rev.22:14
For us; has death no sting –1Co.15:55

The world will wear her shroud of night
Her eyes will open wide
Refusing Jesus’ guiding Light
She’s cast the truth aside

Her wayward brood consumed with lies
Will live as devil taught
Will find The Judge at their demise
Will have their sad report –Rev.20:12

A sad surprise in truth they’ll greet
When life has met its end
When standing at God’s judgement seat –Rev.20:12
Where every knee must bend

Yet still her children sin at will
Their lust acknowledge no bounds –1Pe.4:3
But well before they reach their fill
The Reaper does his rounds –Rev.6:8

Do not be fooled by Satan’s lies
Don’t share the devil’s fate
It’s not the end when someone die
For death is just a gate

It opens wide at Jesus’ feet
Where angels fear to tread
There’s no escape the judgement seat –Heb.9:27
Not even when we’re dead –Rev.20:13

Seek now the truth in Christ The Lord
Pray now to understand
Repent, escape The vengeful sword
Within Salvation’s hand…
