STRANGER THAN FICTION

Whatever devils think of me

What Satan bears in mind

I know Christ Jesus' blood sets free

Midst billions deaf and blind


Deaf to God's Word, blind to God's Ways

Living as walking dead

Such sparks will set hell's realm ablaze

Smoking in Satan's bed


Why is the world to foolish still?

Six thousand years alive

Plagued with desire, next sensual thrill

Hell's brood will never deprive


So I turned, at Jesus' calling

When I heard my Saviour's voice

While this failing world keeps falling

When FACTS became my choice


In a trice I knew I was right

Within, totally sure

As if someone turned on a light

When TRUTH knocked at my door


This could only have been LOVE'S doing

Giving new birth to this child

Devoid of billing and cooing

No longer running wild


Fact is my story, truth, my tale

Spiritual born again

Faith bore me out of Satan jail

Breaking the devil's chains


Here am I excited I stand

Due to wear crown and a ring

Safe and sound in God's strong right

Jesus my Lord, True Life's King.....
