I know everyone struggles with pride but the more God opens my eyes to how my pride hurts others, the more I am ashamed and sorrowful for things I have done in the past.... I am so sorry for people I've hurt in the past. I hate my sinful nature and I am fighting it. I don't want to hurt anyone any more. Like the casting crowns song, I am my own worst enemy, which is why dying to self makes perfect sense. I have hurt many people that were very close to me, including other Christians and family members, and I am tired of causing pain. I don't want to cause pain in anyone anymore.
