Small Breakthrough

Guess what?

I went outside yesterday. That is nothing to you; but it's a breakthrough for me. I have been coped up in my apartment afraid to leave, for I feared the neighbors. I thought they would be uncomfortable with me.

But who cares? I pay rent just like them. This place is mine just like it is theirs. If I want to go outside in the backyard to read, I have that right. And if people run from me or leave because they are uncomfortable around me, that's on them. I leave people alone. I don't harass them. I don't talk to them. And I don't even stare at them or look at them. I mind my own business. I am not going outside to socialize. I just need fresh air.

But there are people who try to talk to me, and it's annoying. They force me to pay attention. And if I don't respond they are in my face. I wish they would stop that. Just because we are neighbors doesn't mean we have to acknowledge each other. Again, I am not out there to socialize. So the neighbors that do talk to me, "STOP IT!! I DO NOT LIKE YOU!!"

I am continue to get some excersize outside. But if some of my neighbors try to get me to talk to them, we are going to have problems.
