Slumbering In Shame

Sleeping, dreaming, most are dying
By devils, led astray
Till wilful, shameful, denying
Life Light, life’s Truth, life’s Way

Disputing when one’s right or wrong
From birth unto the grave
While faith through grace, sheep can belong
To He, who died to save

One’s aching heart, one’s precious soul
Lives, broken asunder
To feed us, teach us, make well and whole
While fools doubt and wonder

God’s Holy Ghost we sorely need
Witness to life’s story
Growing, thriving, through living Seed
Preparing for glory

To rise, stand, in tomorrow’s dawn
While fools err in the night
While faith in Christ, when reborn!
They’d enter endless light

God’s Kingdom, of which Christ foretold
While serving as a man
Feeding sheep, for His Father’s fold
According to His plan

This world must wake up, look and see
What thoughtful souls agree
What’s happening to the fig tree
Man’s future soon will be

We need to change the way we live
How we treat each other
To walk in love, truly forgive
As children by their mother.....
