Some have speculated that communication in Heaven might well be via thought. However, there are enough biblical references to give credence to the expectation that verbal communications do now exist there and will in the future. Perhaps also some "thought-talk" will be there for the saints as well, given that the Lord is omniscient, is creative, and obviously likes variety. I speculate about such a phenomenon here—a legion of angels dedicated for this purpose:
Bring forth the silent angels
For a heavenly interlude,
Their thoughtful psalms, for Israel's El,*
Without sound, to exude.
Radiant faces of these servants
Tell of an inner song
Heard in the Father's presence,
By Son, and Spirit--One!
Neither "unknown tongues"** proceeding,
Nor utterance heard or made,
Purest thoughts forth-pouring
In exultative waves.
Will silent songs pass by their wings
To not by us be known?
Yet, eternally fulfilling,
Such angels praise our Lord!
