Carnal thinking can cause not only Christians but Christianity to be mislead into following, not new ways of the spirit and Kingdom of God, but ways designed to keep even Christians with their feet planted firmly within the world, defensive of it's ways. The blind insure our loyalties remain reversed from the order of Kingdom of God first which Jesus taught. Nothing man touches can end up being free of contamination of our old pre-repentant ways. If we continue to build institutions such as Christianity based on the same patterns of previous institutions, how can they then not end up being of this world as a result? It defeats the purpose of the Kingdom as an alternative. The Gospel of the Kingdom as a result has had a contrary but subtle makeover back into man's image.
