Service Is Lifes Rent

Through grace Salvation makes His call
Through love the heart’s made pure
We hope in faith no more to fall
But through life’s trials endure

Steadfast serving at Jesus’ feet
Drinking The Master’s wine
Obedience makes our service sweet
Through Christ God’s Lamb divine

Clean hands pure heart, a righteous soul
Cups full with Heaven’s Dew
God’s Lamp who guides us to our goal
Will make us sound and true

Unswerving, strong, secure we’ll stand
Steadfast standing our post
United within God’s mighty hand
Through Jesus’ Holy Ghost

When deep within resides true love
Life’s Fire from Christ on high
The Healer sends His guiding Dove
That none should ever die

To sinful flesh true Light is sent
Caressing heart and soul
Melting moulding till life is spent
Making us free and whole

Through Him we’ll walk Salvation’s Way
Through Him we learn to sing
Through Him we learn life’s rent to pay
In service of The King

All precious gifts come from on high
Talents to serve at hand
Testing our works bringing us nigh
