Those in this starting community that had fled Ariyah, it being revealed to them that the community there would not last, had most among them working on the homes right then. But Solima, Jippera, and the youths and children worked on caring for a wide area where much had been planted and sprouts and small plants were now growing, watering from the fresh spring. That next day those building the structures continued, as the homes for the families were made more thoroughly, with walls that would stay up, and flat roofing for covering, and a couple of small windows facing either side with a door to enter in front. Each had a small room separate from the rest of the interior space.
Near the end of that day as work stopped on the homes, with them now usable, that the families would use while still the single men would be hosted in three of the family homes, the people all noticed animals at a respectful distance all facing them, from several sides, apparently watching them. Many were such birds that they had seen. The wild sheep had come nearer and were looking toward them as well. And a little further back on the side where there was the treeline of the great forest further on, one tall hairy bipedal figure stood facing them, watching.
