Saved or Not...

SALVATION and Gods Love: Through salvation we live eternally in heaven after this life. Salvation is a gift of absolute peace and joy in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Romans 8:37-39 "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Where does SALVATION come from: the gift of eternal life in heaven is from the Father (God), through the Son (Jesus) by the Power of the Holy Spirit (after the resurrection of Jesus we are now baptized in the Holy Spirit).

Salvation is confessed, salvation lives in the heart and salvation sets us free.
16 For God so loved, not through attending church services (link explains fellowship though), not by how often you attend church, not through any written work outside of the bible, not through a cross or sign, not by communion, not through any doctrine or creed, not through anything that man deems important. Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is God's gift-not from works, so that no one can boast." Colossians 2:8 "See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ."

Gods Love: You need to know that God loves you. Ephesians 2:4-5 - But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-- by grace you have been saved. Do not ever allow anyone to stand between you, God and Christ Jesus. We do not go to God perfect, we go to Him because we are entirely imperfect. We will always be imperfect, made perfect through Christ. Of course we desire to overcome sin and we actively are to overcome our sins as God convicts. The goal as a Christian is to work on our imperfections (sin) at the pace God sets for YOU, not the pace someone else sets for you. The fellowship of Christians can happen anywhere, it does not need a church which is only a building, however it is good to gather in fellowship which in this day is often in churches. The ONLY mediator between you and God is Jesus and may God have mercy on anyone who tells you otherwise. If you depend on someone else to know Gods word for you, you are missing out and you can be misled. Open the bible and from the beginning seek to understand so you cannot be misled. Read the New Testament from the beginning in Matthew.

Selecting a church and attendance, any church putting God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit first and ONLY is a good start, with no focus on founders such as men/women. A church should only teach the New Testament and not their own doctrine, creed, or book with the Old Testament serving as biblical historical fact. Beware of any church that seems focused on traditions and sacraments (outward signs or religious ceremony)--salvation is in the heart. A church is NOT a CLUB and it saddens me to see membership requirements as if Christ's love and grace is exclusive to a church membership checklist which means nothing. By accepting Jesus into your heart, you are saved and you then are to grow in Christ--no church membership is needed to get into heaven. Gods love is inclusive, not exclusive for anyone that desires salvation. Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Of course we then seek to be obedient. Attendance, although going to church is not going to save you or me as in our salvation; we as Christians are one body in Christ and we are to gather together in fellowship. We are also to give joyously an offering to help our church. Keep the Sabbath holy. However, church attendance should not become a duty, a weekly ritual, obligation, attendance of guilt, or a forced act etc... This link explains it very well that we are to desire to be in fellowship.http://www.gotquestions.org/missing-church.html

Please open your bible and learn the word. Christian's are subject to the New Testament. We have the Old Testament for biblical historical purposes. We were warned in Matthew 7:15-16 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?" These false teachers of Gods word are in every church, some christian denominations are not of God either but present themselves as sheep (harmless) but the history of their wicked fruit is obvious to any person that wants to see truth. http://jesus-saves-the-sinner.weebly.com/
