Satans Final Defeat

Our Shepherd’s often not to find
Because we’ve ran ahead
Without His rod we’ll wander blind
Until we’re walking dead

Best walk with Jesus hand in hand
Receive God’s Light inside
The way to life we’ll understand
When He becomes our guide

God’s Lamb will surely show the way
He’ll keep us safe and sound
He’ll keep the prowling foe at bay
He’ll keep us Heaven bound

Though beasts are never far afield
Though demons never sleep
The Shepherd’s hand just like a shield
Brings safety to His sheep

On these, the devil has no chain
No foe can keep them bound
Through Jesus’ blood they’re born again
To graze The Holy Ground

It sounds far fetched to those yet lost
To those without God’s Son
But they who dare, who’ll count no cost
Life’s war is truly won

God’s sheep enrobed in Liquid Light
Who graze at Jesus’ feet
Will lift their heads will stand and fight
At Satan’s last defeat

Upon their heads a golden crown
They’ll come from far and wide
Displayed in glory’s wedding gown
They’ll live at Jesus’ side
