Who know The Father’s ever near
Their Saviour’s always there
Need ever walk or live in fear
Nor wander in despair
Where Christ is Lord and living guide
Where wisdom has its way
The love God’s planted deep inside
Will always win the day
Regardless where this life may lead
Though dangers come and go
When love has been our chosen seed
We’ll harvest what we sow
Praise God for depths throughout the earth
Valleys of inner thought
Where righteousness can come to birth
And wisdom’s often taught
Praise God for depths of solitude
Ravines of rugged stone
Where life’s directions when reviewed
May reach to heights unknown
In windy storms torrential rains
Through blizzards of despair
Praise God for true life’s growing pains
And strength for these to bear
In faith in truth I’m going on
I’m climbing higher still
Believing in God’s Lamb and Son
Doing my Father’s will
Whatever now’s in store for me
What portion life may bring
With Christ, sweet songs of victory
Eternally I’ll sing
