Teach me dear Jesus... to wear my gifts and talents lightly, to walk with impeccability, to approach life with compassion and love, and to live up to the integrity of my human potential.
Dear Jesus,
It's another day in an endless stream of days searching for truth. The endless, endless stream of lies in the world. Just as it was written truth has become lies and lies have become truth. How, Jesus, how do we convey compassion and love. Is it through example. Why then don't they see. How do we dispel the lies. How do we lead the dark to the light. We're so small and insignificant in this world we're not even noticed. How do we serve without becoming hard and cynical.
Please, Lord Jesus, hold me up in righteousness. Help me to be a better person. Help me to feel no anger, no disgust, no impatience. Help me to be gracious and merciful in my dealings with others. Help me to do things pleasing to you, Lord. Help me to follow your example. Help me to become a warm gentle breeze among the hurting. Help me lend a kind heart and a helping hand to those in pain. Use me to dispel the lies.
I pray the father send the Holy Spirit in waves of intensity . I pray the Holy Spirit speak to those of apathy, to those standing idly by, to those bringing false idols into their lives, to those abusing others.
Jesus, I love you so much. How can you stand it. All the pain. I ask the Father to bless Christian Forums and use this site as a witness to the world. To erradicate the evil spirits roaming loosely through here completely unnoticed by so many. In your precious, precious name, sweet Jesus, I ask this.
