I write this now with the truth I can bring forth
From this spring which has but nearly dried up
I have coaxed the drops of renewal for my spirit and mind
Hoping it will be good enough for you my God.
I am weak and I am a sinner.
I have prayed to be saved, and yet I feel incomplete and like a failure.
Please don't shut me out or send me away forever to suffer.
Because I never asked to be this way.
Help me to love you and to seek you with a purer heart. Help me to follow you all the days of my life in your faithful righteousness.
I beg you Lord for your pardon.
Make me beautiful in your eyes.
