A few weeks ago - before the holiday I believe - I asked Paul Peterson if I could get reconfirmed at some point during my stay here. I was confirmed nearly three years ago but to be honest (and we like honesty) it had nothing to do with Christ. In Denmark it is a big thing to get confirmed: big because your parents will plan a big party for you, you get a lovely white (expensive) dress and your family brings you money. The schools provide the students with time to prepare for the party; writing "Thank you" speeches, party songs and so on. They also provide them with lessons in Christianity where the students are tought by a priest from the church where the confirmation will be held. Everyone hated these lessons (I barely went) but everyone loved the money.
Therefore I don't consider myself confirmed. I was selfish and... selfish. Paul said that there wasn't any official "reconfirmation" ritual but said he would have a think about it. It would mean a lot to me, Christ Church means a lot to me.
