Receive It Spend It

Would you stop being Satan’s harlot?
From Satan’s bed depart
If Jesus knocked your selfish door
If God spoke to your heart

We’ll seek for something night and day
Who knows for what or where?
Yet who’ll seek Christ The Truth The way
Eternal life to share

But who would feel God’s love within?
Who’d feel His guiding Flame?
Who’ll quit their lust for wanton sin?
And burn their robes of shame?

Too few have heart to God resigned?
That souls be free of fear?
That darkness flees and eyes so blind
See Jesus whilst He’s near

Too few receive God’s Dove Of Light
Too few to self will die
Too few for Christ will join the fight
To win a place on high

Its not that hard to walk God’s Land
To climb God’s Hill above
Through Christ we learn to understand
The secret of His love

Give love to neighbours near and far
Spend love and spare no cost
Share love through Christ The Morning Star
Amongst the masses lost

Take up in love God’s truthful sword
Walk Jesus’ way in peace
Receive through love your just reward
With days that never cease
