“I wrote my guide to life for you
I know how much you’ll need it
Now if you wish to start anew
Take my book and read it

I give my word throughout the book
That all within is true
Believe me child just take a look
I wrote it all for you

My Spirit within will quench your thirst
My bread to you is free
There’s much you won’t digest at first
Yet chew my child and see

Some think it strange and yet somehow
My word comes never late
While others think it’s not for now
But for a later date

My word is not of flesh and bone
Although I’ve used man’s hand
Author’s your God your God alone
Best this you understand

My mighty works you now can read
Though still I’ve some to do
I’ve wrote of Jesus Christ my Seed
Who came to die for you!

The day will dawn when all have heard
When all have made their choice
Yet only those who’ve kept my word
Will live to hear my voice

I speak no lies my word is true
The choice to all is free
Now read the book I give to you
Believe and live in me”
