Rainy Day

Today I had some fears about my life. The Lord comforted me. He gave me a peaceful day and it was a blessing to my soul. It rained today and I love the rain. I watched the rain out of my window as I sat on my bed reading a book I brought on my kindle called Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard. I have read another book by her and really loved it. She has become one of my favorite authors. She is a Christian. I will read more of the book tonight. I also went to Lowes with my father, he had to purchase a new faucet for the kitchen. After Lowes we went to the dollar store and I brought a lovely candle with the scent volcanic burst. It has a sweet, fruity scent and is very lovely. I put the candle next to my angel statue. I am thankful to the Lord for giving me a peaceful day. I needed it very much in my spirit. The Lord is good.
